As an interesting side note, over the past 10 seasons, Little Missygan had a conference (regular season) record of 51-29 versus the MSU record of 42-38.
ReplyDeleteHowever, over the past 5 seasons the records are Little Missygan 18-22 and the Spartans 27-13.
Seems there has been a shift in the balance of power.
76 - That's good data to have on hand...my next series will be the five-year picture, for Football and both Basketball programs...I just wanted to start with the ten-year look since that is an undeniably relevant time-span.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Are those numbers the last 40 games, including increments of this year and 2008?
The 5 & 10 year conference records do not include this season. MSU is 6-0 and UolM is 3.3, so the gap is widening even as we watch.
