The Michigan State Volleyball team won their season series with Michigan by taking two sets in the Ann Arbor re-match one week ago. The Spartans swept the Wolverines for a 3-0 victory on September 30, then traveled to Ann Arbor three days later for the second match.
While UM rallied from behind to win on their home court, the Spartans secured possession of the "State Pride Flag" for the sixth consecutive season. The total score was 5-3, MSU winning by sets (since the match-score finished 1-1).
