A round of applause is in order for the Michigan Football team. They played a great game and did what it takes to win. They took a lead on the Spartans for the first time in many quarters-played in the series. They had the game won for all practical purposes with ten seconds to go.

The UM Coaches did a great job getting ready for Michigan State. They game-planned well and out-schemed MSU repeatedly. They played their cards nicely and had every reason to feel they were about to win the game.

The crowd really seemed to be in it for the home team. Their stadium atmosphere must have been challenging for the Spartans. What a difficult place that must be for any visiting team.

Overall, a great performance by the Wolverines, with crispy dry air and a color-splashed background. A wonderful interscholastic athletic event for all to see. Certainly all Spartan fans will fondly remember their visit to Ann Arbor today.
