Michigan folks like to pride themselves as being "better than the rest", if not "champions and the best". They're always looking to prove that they're a notch above.

This attitude made it tough for them to explain away all of the criminal behavior by their football players under the Brady Hoke Administration. Once they realized what was happening, they flipped their coach.

The new guy should be familiar with drunk driving, the most common criminal offense for college athletes, because he has one of his own. That's right, JIM HARBAUGH WAS CONVICTED OF DRUNK DRIVING IN 2005. He was well over 40 years old when it happened, so it was hardly a "youthful indiscretion".

Harbaugh should literally feel right at home at Michigan, just like he did in San Francisco. Harbaugh is the second University of Michigan Coach with a DUI record, joining Red Berensen in the dishonor.
