Everybody seems to believe that Jim Harbaugh is a "player's coach", and that he was run out of San Francisco by the team owners, while his players all loved him. Not so fast my friends!

The truth is that Harbaugh created a toxic locker room in which he, the head coach, was public enemy number one. His player's hatred of him was despite a winning record on the field:

Maybe some of his players liked him because he let them go nuts off the field and do anything they wanted, illegal or not, as long as they helped him win games. After all, "player accountability issues" were cited by the 49ers owners as a reason for letting Harbaugh out of his contract a year early.

But it wasn't only in the NFL that players didn't necessarily warm-up to Harbaugh. At least one former Stanford player is now an Ohio State fan:

Even with the knowledge that Harbaugh was on the horizon, at least two current players on the Michigan Football roster have announced plans to transfer. Maybe the new guy isn't all he's cracked up to be?
