Discussion from Red Cedar Message Board...
I really don't care for for the scUM stuff or the angle of "they have kids in trouble and let them play". MSU will have a kid screw up at some point, although it has been a long time. My angle is simply that "There is No Michigan Difference". Maybe that will be the next t-shirt!
There are interesting points below if they are true...

Defensive end Clark and the running back both today.
Boy Hoke has really cleaned things up down there by installing discipline

No no no, Hoke taught an unprecedented lesson in responsibility and accountability to his valiant Michigan Men student-athletes when he suspended two felons for 1 game.

Yup, Rucker missed more time than Toussaint for the same offense, so I don't want to hear a peep from Ann Arbor if one of our kids makes a mistake sometime.
Hoke is not a disciplinarian, that much is obvious, 8 arrests in 2 years and outside of Stonum, it's translated to 1 missed game for 2 guys.

This is fine. I wish they would have played last week. They are no different than another other football in the entire country so now you can turn a deaf ear to the "......but we're meeeeeechigan" bullshit that comes out of ann arbor on a daily basis.
Also note that this was a non-story all week in the press, ESPN, etc. "Twittergate" was a far more serious story.

Eh, there is pretty large distinction between felonious crimes and misdemeanors. One that has to be made.

I can't believe all the Jalen Rose-esque thug defenders that seem to infest scUM related threads on here.
Sitting kids only one game and allowing them to play against a tomato can/ Jerry Quarry type opponent says all that needs to be said about morals down there

I just tweeted Dave Pollack at Gameday and Joe Rexrode and asked them why so much media attention was put on MSU player tweets, yet there are 2 felons playing for Michigan today yet not one word has been mentioned. I have not received a response from either yet.

QFT: when a reporter asked Hoke about it this week he essentially said this:
"Shut your dirty pirate whore of a reporter's mouth. It's been dealt with. Next question."
.......and what happened after that? CRICKETS.........absolutely nothing. All attention was turned to twittergate.

They have Frank Clark awaiting trial for felony B and E.
They have Marvin Robinson who is awaiting trial for home invasion.
Josh Furman was tried for domestic violence, assualt, and B and E...but was squirted.
And of course William Campbell was convicted of misdemeanor destruction of property..

Under coach d. Have we ever had a player with outstanding felony charges take the field?
I really can't believe he is being treated the same as a guy who plead to a drunk driving.

So much for this BS:
"We are aware of the case regarding football student-athlete Frank Clark," Michigan coach Brady Hoke said in a statement. "This is a serious accusation and we will follow the lead of the judicial system. Frank was and will continue to be suspended pending the outcome of the investigation."
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
When asked to further explain how he came to the decision -- Clark is scheduled to be in court again on Sept. 11 on the charges -- the coach did not delve too much into specifics of his decision.
"I don't need to take you through the process," Hoke said. "I just resolved it."
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
This leads me to believe that Brady Hoke is indeed in charge of the Judicial system.
