The MSU Basketball program won the regular season series against UM with two victories on the court today. Everybody saw the Men's Team lead from wire-to-wire at the Breslin Center on national television. Meanwhile, the Women's Team also won in Crisler Arena on a last second shot by a Senior who has never lost to Michigan.

With the Women's victory over UM on January 4, MSU gets the series win, three games to one. The only loss was by a point in Ann Arbor last month, meaning the Weasels avoided a series sweep by just one point.

The Women's Team victory over the Weaselettes was their 11th such win in a row, including four in a row at the Crisis Center. MSU holds an all-time record of 60-15 against the chUMps, an 80% winning percentage. For Michigan to catch up to Michigan State in the all-time series for Women's Basketball, they would have to win every game for the next 20 years.

The Men's Team has defeated UM 19 of the last 25 games, including 12 of the last 13 at the Breslin Center.
