ONCE TOAST-OF-THE-TEAM, NOW JUST "TOAST"

Okay, so much for FRANK CLARK. Less than two weeks ago, he was heralded as one of the great seniors on the Michigan Football team, even helping fill-in for Brady Hoke on a television show when Hoke was unavailable. (Was Hoke on a recruiting trip?)

Now Clark is "lunch-meat", tossed aside like two-day-old bread at Panera's. Buh-bye, Frankie.

Did you notice how Hoke announced on Sunday night that he would "respect the legal process" in Clark's case, then came back Monday morning to announce that Clark has been kicked off the team? Some sign of respect. I guess that's how Hoke treats one of his many "sons".

"We are aware of the report involving Frank Clark," Hoke said. "I have not spoken with Frank but will at the appropriate time. We will respect the legal process and make any decisions once we have the facts."                                 -MLive.com, November 17, 2014

Apparently, the "appropriate time" means after Clark has already been kicked off the team. Okay, I suppose he could call that "appropriate".

Anyway, the case blew-up so fast the Wolverine Spin Machine will have people asking, "Frank Who?" by this Saturday afternoon. They'll claim it's "old news" by next week. They will ask us to quit looking so far into the past. Then they will claim they hold the all-time wins record in college football.

So before the next chunk of whatever hits the proverbial fan, let's review a few points about the actual behavior of Michigan football players in the recent past.

MICHIGAN FOOTBALL PLAYER CRIME REPORT

It's been a big week leading up to the Big Game, but not only for the teams and current players. This has also been a big week for the Michigan Football Players who have recently been arrested and charged with criminal activity:

TAYLOR LEWAN has apparently found a way to avoid trial. Most likely, it involves finding the "sweet spot" in his now-bulging wallet to pay off his victims so that they would agree to not testify against him. Under such circumstances, the Prosecutor would find it hard to proceed, and would likely drop the charges. Sure, it's illegal, but they can't prove it happened, and with the adequate cash-flow, they can't prove the assault ever happened, either. Sounds a lot like what may have happened with the Brendan Gibbons case. Lewan was allowed by Brady Hoke to stay on the UM team despite this incident. You can be sure of one thing; the "block-M" stands for MONEY.

CSONT'E YORK has been sentenced to seven days in jail for breaking an innocent man's face last summer. York was allowed by Brady Hoke to stay on the UM team for a month despite compelling video evidence that showed him cold-cock a man with a knockout sucker-punch that took a tooth out and sent the victim to the hospital for several days. York was eventually dismissed from the program, but only after an extensive review of the team depth-chart showed he had little chance of playing this season.

Several other criminals remain on the UM roster, including Graham Glasgow, Frank Clark, and A.J. Williams.

U-of-M RAPE SCANDAL MAKES THE PAGES OF SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

Hard to believe its only been a few weeks since the Brendan Gibbons rape scandal hit the news. Many people are still in "reaction mode", as the Michigan Daily report was the first they heard about it at the end of last month. Quite a few of those folks are also "in denial" about the sordid affair.

Well, any claims that this is "not a real story" are officially moot points, as Sports Illustrated has taken up the coverage. Here is the Sports Illustrated article about the Michigan football player rape cover-up.

We have more coverage coming up on this web site as well, including a conclusive essay proving beyond a reasonable doubt that both David Brandon and Brady Hoke knew about the charges against Gibbons long before any penalties were imposed on him. In the meantime, here are a few other articles about this subject:

WILL THE INFAMOUS "MICHIGAN FAN" RETURN TO PENN STATE THIS WEEKEND?

The last time Michigan traveled to Penn State for a football game was 2013, just two short years ago, during the "Golden Era" of Brady Hoke. The most notable part of that game was the introduction of the UM Fanbase to America, courtesy of the chUMp you see in the picture below:

SPRAY THE MACE IN THE FACE OF THE MICHIGAN FAN BASE

This guy represented very well the exact thing that we oppose: chUMps. For the price of a jersey, this guy believed he had the right to invade an opposing team's stadium and act like a complete jerk, an "a-hole", a prick, etc. Make no mistake, it's guys like this one that drew the nickname "scUM" over the years, a derogatory word we are trying to replace with "chUMps".

This guy was maced in the face and thrown out of the stadium before halftime. You can read all about his antics at many sources on the Internet:

There was never a follow-up regarding who this guy is, where he's from, how did you get into this kind of mess, etc. But we Spartans know that THIS GUY IS EVERYWHERE. Wherever you find University of Michigan sports teams, this guy is in the mix. We have seen him, we have heard him, we have reviled him.

We even started this web site to fight against him.

I have no doubt that as he was being dragged out of the stadium, he was proudly shouting out whatever he thinks the "All-Time Wins Record" is for UM against PSU, or the overall total that counts rugby scrums from the 1880s. I have personally seen that type of behavior, so I feel certain he was doing that stuff in Happy Valley.

Will he return to the scene of his crime?
Let's look for him in the stands on Saturday.
